Over the summer the brief was to collect a images that would create a visual alphabet from places that one might visit over the summer months. I decided that I would choose France as I spent ten days in traveling around small towns and cities, unsure of what the outcome would be I was intrigued to find out what French typography and signage was going to be like. To take the pictures I used a two different camera's a lot of the time I used my iPhone because I always had that with me, but sometimes I took my Canon DSLR with me so I could get higher quality shots for the publication. I went with an open mind because I wanted to make sure I had a wide verity of typography so that I would not be limiting myself when it came to deciding on a more definitative idea.
