The idea is all about focusing on content unknown and the ambiguity of the branding. By using the black boxes it creates uncertainty of whats this is esacly that is at the bank house. This is the aim for them people to go away and google it or have a @thevault somewhere for them to use Instagram. The black boxes also work as theme which can be placed throughout including inside the exhibition to present information.
The approach of the lasers will also used within the building itself. For wayfinding and simply brightening up the place. These posters are created to work as a series so as people spot them around the place they get a little bit more information. We printed them on acetate to make a more visually pleasing poster as you don't see may posters that have been creating using acetate these will go along side the contents unknown logo the we have created.
These are some other examples of the alliterative branding, we were undecided about which branding should be used as the main one, so we printed both to see which would be better. Personally I believe that the one above is more appropriate as it has better consistency and will grab more attention. But The second one related better to the tag line "contents unknown" this is why we have two outcomes.
