Studio Brief 01 - How Do You Read? - Brief

The Brief

To design and produce a small publication (booklet, leaflet, etc.) that collates material which, in turn, can communicate key design principles to a reader. This should be submitted physically.I will  also document and evaluate your practical research thoroughly on my Studio Practice Blog while using this online space to reflect on my creative process.

Deliverables
One small publication: printed and submitted.
A body of work produced in response to set tasks documented on your Studio blogs
Evidence of independent investigation into design principles of image, layout, composition and colour as briefed.
Resolutions to set tasks.
Response
For this brief I have chosen to look further into grid systems and how they work, I will be presenting this in the form of a small A5 publication, as I feel that this is a good size for a handbook style book. It will consist of the fundamentals of grid systems in graphic design, to explain to someone who doesn't know what grids do or how they work, how important they can be in design. I have also choose this subject as I want to learn more about grids and how they can benefit my work and develop my style.
