The final design helps the reader an insight into the imagery used within hoarding design something that we would normally not even think about but at closer inspection (the zine) you are able to realise the strange yet wonderful things that are going on within the photographs. The zine itself has an unconventional and ambiguous style so that they can better understand the theories and ideologies that Sam talks about in his dissertation.
Printed Version
For Sam's submission, I created a copy of the zine for him along with the poster. The book was printed on uncoated 130gsm paper - this would have not been my stock of choice for the zine when we get round to reproducing this book in the future I want to use thin glossy stock so that it imitates the style of advertising/hoarding design. I also printed the sticker for the front cover which I think helps to add the final touch to the zine. The poster has then been printed on 90gsm poster stock so that it folds well and can be slotted into the zine.
