Studio Brief 02 - Responsive - Monotype - Group Meeting

This meeting was mainly organised so that we could bring together what we had done over the last week and see what the next stages would need to be as we move further into the project. Today we got back the illustration from Joe which meant that I would be able to start adding the type into the poster. We are all very happy with Joe's work and think that it relays the right message that we want to get across. Our roles have now changed as the illustration is finished and Joe is now going to be designing the stickers so that Tom can concentrate on the animation and I could design the posters. 

Next point of discussion was to further develop our ideas for the animation, over the past couple days we had all been looking for inspiration and thinking about ideas for the animation as we wanted to make sure it was well linked to the rest of the project. After some basic storyboarding and talking about a few basis ideas we settled on an idea that would involve shapes being animated to come in and out of an a2 style frame. The idea behind this is that we have an animated poster as we thought this would be different to the norm (gifs/short 16x9 animation). 

Our job roles for the next stage of the brief have been set, Joe is on stickers, Tom animation and I am creating the main poster and I will be trying to come up with a few extra posters as well. Time is an issue but we have planned out the next week, the posters and stickers need to be ready for 20th March to print and then they will be photographed later that day the animation will need to be done by the 22nd March as this doesn't need to be printed so Tom can take a little more time over this.
