Today was a very important day for the project, printing and then photographing the work is possibly the most important part of the the brief as we have to make sure that every step is done correctly so the project is completed to a high standard. We printed the main poster at A2 as we felt that it would be most impactful at a larger size the supporting prints were printed at A3 as we felt that these would work better as a series so therefore needed to be smaller so we could photograph them, all of the prints came out as planned with very little problems. The stickers were very easy to print, we were able to use the cutting machine which meant we did not have to cut out the stickers once printed. Overall we were all very happy with the printing process.
The next stage of the process was to take the prints and photograph them in an interesting and bold way. The first photos that we took we only used the white colour of the flat bed, but we felt that this was not impactful enough for the tone of voice we wanted. Our solution to this problem was to buy some red and blue paper which helped to create a more interesting backdrop and helped us to get the look we were looking for. As this is my biggest strength out of the group I took the photos but I made sure that Tom and Joe had giving my different ideas for the art direction as I wanted the pictures to vary so we had lots to choose from. I am very happy with the result of the pictures and they will be able to fit the tone of voice very well.
