Production
Using the help of the rough draft that I made I able to start adding the content too the pages that I had created. Because I was using the draft copy I discovered that made it more complicated that it needed to be, I had done that hard work for the computer. instead of creating the book how you should normally do it (how it looks when it is put together) I had done it in a way that means the computer doesn't have to reader the pages, this I discovered once everything had been done. Too check if it would still be okay to print, I asked the help of a technician I was told that it would be fine to print but normally if the book was any bigger it would be better to just use A5 facing pages.
Above is the digital copy before printing, for all of the typesetting I made sure that it was in a grid so i used kerning and leading to make them fit with in the certain grids. The publication does look odd with the grids in as you would not normally see it like that, of course this was the idea to show how grids are used and the efficiency of them.
Each image was made black and white and the I just the overlay setting in photoshop so that you could see through image into and see the grid system again to show how it works with images as well as type.
There is no background colour because I will be printing on too 175 gsm grey stock which will give the publication so more colour, I felt that this would be better than white was most things are printed on white paper and it would help it too stand out slightly.
Final Outcome
Below is the final product that is my "Design Lessons - Grid Systems" for this brief I was given the chance to use a photography studio. using what I already know about taking photos and editing them I was able to produce some very well balanced looking images that show off the publication well. I just Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to make sure that the photos were exposed correctly make it more like what the book does in person. I was unable to stitch the book as I hoped too, so I have ended up using stables I understand that it may not look as good as I wanted but this will be a lesson for when I go on too Studio brief 02.
