More and more money is spent online each day and PayPal are at the forefront of this managing money sent all over the world. They want to give back by offering a service for aimed at young adults on how to manage their money.
Problem -
The temptation to spend money and not save will always there and it becomes more difficult as you progress through life, but this because young adults aren't being shown how to save and how to budget properly. Where can young adults go for help and get a quick fast response without having to sieve through webpage after webpage.
Objectives/aims -
To produce a user interface experience that will be able to communicate and support young adults when it comes to their finances, as this can be a very difficult. The system should be simple and safe to use, online safety with money is key as this could create all sorts of problems for users. Consider how the interface is going to be used, make sure that the outcome is accessible for anyone that wants to use it.
Target Audience -
A service like this could really be used by anyone, but the biggest demographic of people that need a little help with managing finances are students, graduates and people living away from home for the first time, more specifically 18 - 25 male and female. These are the people sending the money and also constantly engaging with user interface and experience, so they would be able to take full benefit of a platform like this.
